Sensitive functions of the terminal are protected by passcodes.

Passcodes in welcome email

All passcodes have been provided to you within the welcome email you will have received when setting up your merchant facility.

Merchant Passcode

The Merchant Passcode is used to restrict sensitive settings on the terminal. It will be prompted for when required and should only be provided to staff members who need to:

  • Complete a Settlement Cutover function
  • Access the Quest Dashboard (for a Standalone Terminal) or the ☰ button (for an Integrated Terminal)
  • Complete a Refund, if the Merchant Password requirement is enabled
